Individuals

Having one-on-one therapy is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. You will be seen, you will be heard, and you will be challenged to make changes to problematic thoughts and behaviors. We will talk about your fears, your hurts, your hopes, your dreams and how to make it happen. The relationship that will develop between us will be unlike any other in your life.

Couples

I believe relationships, whether good or problematic, are co-created. It is the product of the two people involved. Therefore, both parties will be expected to identify their contributions and make changes accordingly. Is couples therapy right for you? You both don’t have to feel exactly the same about the idea of coming to therapy, but you both need to feel committed to making the relationship work.  If this is you, then couples therapy is right for you and I’d love to help you achieve your relationship goals.

Consultation

I consult and provide culturally-competent direct services to companies that employ Vietnamese-speaking personnel. I appreciate the opportunity to make contact and help an under-served population who typically would not find their way to my office.

Passions and Expertise

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, adults and adolescents.  My passion is working with people whose depression and/or anxiety is a result of:
  • feeling misunderstood
  • transitioning to married life and parenthood
  • cheating in relationships, and/or being cheated on
  • being burned out in mental health and other health care fields
  • being a perfectionist
  • feeling “stuck”
  • being at the cusp of greatness but fearful of taking the next step
  • experiencing personal and professional identity confusion
  • experiencing migration trauma
  • family conflicts between first and second-generation immigrants
  • parenting struggles with “Americanized” children
  • coming from another country and are having a hard time adjusting to life in the U.S.
